For the years that I pastored, I had watched extremes in the church. One group wanted more praise and worship, and another group said, "We don't need praise and worship, go right into the Word of God." What good is praise and worship? I ask you this question. What good is plowing the ground before you plant the seed? That's the importance of worship, preparing all those hearts for the things of God.
